I thought he was all about positivity and faith.

I gotta ask a simple question today… really Deion? Really dude? You’re really gonna use our platform as the head coach at Colorado to troll random Austin Peay players on the X? Really?

See I thought Coach Prime was all about lifting people up. I thought Coach Prime was all about elevating the Colorado football program. I thought he was all about positivity and faith. Not acting like a petty teenager on social media. Not using his DI program to make it all about his sons.

That sure as hell isn’t PRIME TIME. That’s small time. That’s high school. That’s the classic high school football nightmare right there: coach’s son plays QB and coach’s son has an attitude and coach’s son can’t take any criticism and when coach’s son acts out or lashes out, coach daddy comes riding in to have his back.

High school stuff, Prime. And not the good kind. The worst kind of youth sports bullcrap playing out at the University of Colorado.

And I hate to see that as someone sending tuition checks to the University of Colorado. Like, I’m not looking to take a run at these guys. If anything, it’s the opposite. And you all know I was all about giving them guys their due credit when they were winning and seemingly changing the game. I was leading that charge. I threw down huge paper to sit right behind the bench last year so I could see it and experience first-hand. So I’m not here to hate. Hell, we sent our first son, Jake to Wisconsin, and I was all in on the badger experience, which was easy to do because they were all class. Which brings back to the buffs.  Their anti-establishment approach was pretty much fine, when they were winning, and private jets were flying into boulder and a list celebs were on the sideline. But then it all went up smoke.

Then they stopped winning. And something tells me that other coaches will not be emulating the strategy of taking runs on social media at players from FCS programs. I don’t think Prime will be changing the game with that one.

I mean nothing says big time Big 12 college football like a head coach reposting a defensive player from Austin Peay’s career stats with the caption LAWD JESUS. I mean who wouldn’t want to go play for a leader like that?  That’s a hall of famer, division I head coach, presumed leader of young people, straight up calling some randon FCS player garbage on social media. The hell is that guy doing stooping to that level.  Mocking some random FCS player and telling us he has time for that today: how do you have time for that coach legend: you lost 8 of 9 games last season: you finsihed 4-8, don’t you have more important things to do that mock random FCS players on line. Apparently Dan Lanning was right when he said before rolling you up, they play for clicks there.  Based on this, Lanning was right.

And Jesus people, don’t come at me that was Deion being blasphemous, not me. That was just me quoting the Colorado head coach on X, that was just me quoting 'Mr. Inspiration Mr. Uplift People Mr. Spirituality and Mr. Man of Faith' mocking SOME RANDOM dude from A SMALLER program to his 1.8 mil followers.

How does he even have time for this nonsense? How is he not above this? How is any coach at this level not above this, let alone a dude who is in both the college and pro football hall of fame?

Doesn’t he have better things to do… like get ready for a season where he does better than lose 8 of his last 9 games? That’s the other thing about this, it would be small time even if they were smacking everyone around. But dude, you guys got stomped NEARLY every single week. Who talks like this fresh off getting HAMMERED 8 out of their last 9 times out?

Especially when this dude wants to act like he’s the bastion of leadership and the beacon of positivity and discipline and focus and keeping the main thing the main thing. You know all the things that made this program and this story appealing in the first place. The hell happened to all of that?

You don’t have to answer that, it’s pretty obvious what happened. The bleep hit the fan. You lost 8 of 9. You threw your offensive line under the bus. Dudes can’t get away from the program fast enough. And you’re out here taking runs at a player from an FCS program FOR CLICKS.

AGAIN, that’s what Deion’s doing, he’s proving Dan Lanning right. He’s proving one of his own players who peaced on him and said that exact same thing, right. They are playing for clicks at this point.

And I guess that’s why Deion also felt the need to clap back at a random troll on X who pointed out the obvious, you guys were 4-8, what's with all the yapping from your son. This was Deion’s answer to his 1.8 mil followers:

"He will be a top 5 pick. Where yo son going? Lololol I got time today. Lololol."

Really dude? Back to my original question, really Deion? LOLOLOL?

Dude didn’t just drop one LAUGH OUT LOUD… he dropped a LAUGH OUT LOUD OUT LOUD OUT LOUD. You know like all the great college football coaches have before him. LAUGH OUT LOUD OUT LOUD OUT LOUD.

Look maybe his work in the portal this year turns out to be all he's hyping it to be. But how can anyone give these dudes the benefit of the doubt right now? What, we’re supposed to just assume the fresh, anti-establishment system works? Why, because Deion says it does. Because based on last year’s results, it doesn’t.

Again, I would love for this to go well. I would love for Rogan Lome to have an amazing experience with this program during his time in Boulder. But it really doesn't look like it's going in the right direction. It seems like it’s going south, fast.

And it's gonna be hard for me to think otherwise until I see them on the field again, doing anything other than getting their asses beat. And having their opponents laugh out loud out loud out loud at them.  Deion thinks he knows better than anyone: that his system is better than anyone’s.  He better be right because right now, he’s passing people off, and for what?  For clicks and you know every single team on his schedule wants to beat them even worse than they did before. Because, they’ll get, you know. Clicks. Laugh out loud.  Out loud. Out loud. Laugh out loud.
