I really wanted to have Canelo Alvarez on the show this week. And HOO HOO HOO are we having Canelo on the show this week. Just not in the way I thought it was gonna happen.

We were efforting the dude to actually join as a guest yesterday. Which would have been great, it would have been his first time in the Jungle and he doesn’t do a lot of this type of one-on-one interview in English. So we were gonna have a lot of fun with it, and it was supposed to happen yesterday, it just didn’t work out unfortunately.

Canelo didn’t show up here in the Jungle in the end, but did he ever show up for his pre-fight presser ahead of his upcoming undisputed super middleweight title defense. Canelo showed up to that presser FIRED UP. Canelo showed up like he was showing up for the actual fight. It’s just that his target wasn’t his Saturday night opponent, Canelo’s target was Oscar De La Cokehead himself.

De La Hoya promoted Canelo for a decade but things went south and now there’s bad blood. And that bad blood boiled over in front of the world yesterday in Vegas, and for the most hilariously ironic of reasons. De La Cokehead took a jab at Canelo for his positive test for a banned substance back in 2018.

De La Cokehead taking a run at somebody else for failing a drug test, that’s rich. Canelo thought so too. So Canelo high jacked the presser and did this.

See, dude’s English sounds great! At least what I could make out around the bleeps. Geez Canelo, tell us how you really feel, don't be holding back now. That didn't exactly sound like promoting a fight that sounded like some legit BEEF. And if you watched it, it looked like it almost came to blows right there in front of the media.

And Canelo wasn't even done there, then he sat down with the media and explained that he almost DID throw them hands at De La Cokehead. He just didn't describe it as almost throwing them hands, he described it like this.

"If he come closer, I eff him..."  wow that's taking it a little further than just punching him my dude. Maybe we sharpen up that part of the English.

I'm not gonna say anyone looks good here necessarily, but it did do a helluva job promoting the fight, even if this clearly wasn't really about promoting the fight. Even if this was clearly personal between Canelo and the former so-called Golden Boy.

Never ceases to amaze how far the former Golden Boy has fallen. And how bloated he is now too, that's also shocking, but not as shocking as his fall from Golden Boy status to De La Cokehead status.

One thing is for sure after that exchange yesterday though, DE LA COKEHEAD will certainly never compliment Canelo ever again. Which means he'll never tell Canelo that he LOOKS LIKE A DADONIS.

We know for sure that while DE LA COKEHEAD is watching his fight on Saturday, what he won't be saying is: "I loooove Canelo's physique... Look it look it.. He looks like a Dadonis... He looks beautiful... He looks in shape... Look it look it... He looks... He looks like a Dadonis.
